1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using losangelessober.com or our mobile application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Los Angeles Sober provides a free online directory of recovery resources including sober living homes, detox centers, treatment programs, and AA meetings in Los Angeles. We are a directory service and do not directly provide any medical, clinical, or therapeutic services.

3. Not Medical Advice

The information provided through our Service is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. We strongly encourage you to:

• Consult with a licensed healthcare professional before making treatment decisions
• Verify facility credentials and licensing independently
• Call 988 or 911 in any emergency situation

4. Facility Listings

We make reasonable efforts to ensure directory accuracy but do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or availability of listed facilities. Listings do not constitute endorsement. We are not responsible for the services, quality, or outcomes of any listed facility.

4A. Paid Listings, Subscriptions & Cancellation

Model D paid listings are optional advertising placements for facility owners or authorized representatives. The current founder rate is $5 per month unless a different price is shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew monthly through Stripe and may be canceled anytime through the Stripe-hosted customer portal or by contacting us.

Canceling stops paid placement, enhanced rotation, and related subscriber benefits at the end of the billing period. A canceled subscription does not require us to remove the standard public directory listing, though we may update, correct, suppress, or remove listings at our discretion for accuracy, safety, legal, or quality reasons.

Paid placement does not mean we endorse, license, certify, inspect, or guarantee a facility. Facilities are responsible for the accuracy of submitted information and for complying with all applicable laws, licenses, advertising rules, and healthcare regulations.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use our Service to:

• Submit false or misleading information
• Harass or harm other users
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

6. Facility Listings & Lead Forms

When you submit a contact form, your information may be forwarded to licensed treatment providers. You consent to being contacted by these providers. Standard message and data rates may apply.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Service, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Los Angeles Sober or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Los Angeles Sober shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any facility listed in our directory.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Los Angeles Sober from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
